DarkSEO terms of use
By signing in or calling the API you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.
The service
DarkSEO provides link data through a REST API and a free online explorer. Responses are JSON. We may improve, change or pause features as the product develops.
Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep your API key private, because calls made with it are charged to your balance.
If you think a key has leaked, tell us through the account page and stop using it.
Prepaid credit
Credit is bought in advance and used by the call at the published prices. The free actions cost nothing. When your balance is empty the API answers with HTTP 402.
Top-ups are made in USDT (TRC-20). The privacy policy describes how payment records are treated.
Acceptable use
Use the data to understand and protect sites you own or are paid to look after, and to research the web openly.
Do not use the service to harass a person or to plan an attack on someone else's site. Do not try to break, overload or reverse the service, and do not resell raw responses as a competing data product.
About the data
The index is our own and refreshes roughly once a month. Some links will be missing, and some will be stale.
Domain Rating is our own metric, not a Google value. Nothing on this site is a promise of ranking, recovery or penalty removal.
No warranty and limits
The service is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it correct and available, but we cannot promise it will be free of faults.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make on the basis of the data, such as which links you disavow.
Ending use and changes
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You may stop at any time.
We may revise these terms, and the date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Fair use of the explorer
The free online explorer and the free actions are meant for people, not for bulk harvesting. If your traffic puts the service at risk, we may slow or block it.
If you need large volumes, use an API key and the paid actions, which are priced to be cheap.
Intellectual property
The site design, text and index belong to DarkSEO. You may quote short passages with credit.
Your own domains, files and notes remain yours.
