DarkSEO privacy policy

This page explains what the service sees about you and why. It is general, plain and short.

Who is responsible

DarkSEO is the operator of this site and its API. When this policy says we or us, it means DarkSEO.

Questions about your data go through the account page, because we do not list other contact addresses here.

What we receive when you sign in

Sign-in is by Google account only. Google tells us the basic profile details needed to create your account, such as your name and the address tied to the sign-in.

We never see your Google password.

What the service records while you use it

To bill you and to keep the API running we keep a record of each call: which action you ran, the domain you queried, the number of credits charged and your remaining balance.

The domains you look up are your business. We use the records to operate the service, show your usage and look into faults or abuse. We do not sell them.

Payments

Top-ups are made in USDT on the TRC-20 network. A blockchain transaction is public by nature, so anything you send on-chain can be seen by others.

We do not collect card numbers, since no card is needed to start.

Cookies and similar storage

The site uses what is needed for sign-in and keeping your session. We do not run advertising trackers on these pages.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time. To ask about your data, including a request to look at it or remove it, use the account page.

Changes to this page will appear here with a new date. Please read the terms as well.

Who can see the data

Access to account and usage records is limited to people who operate the service. We may share information when we are legally required to, or to protect the service from abuse.

We use ordinary infrastructure providers to run the site, and they process data on our behalf. We do not give lists of the domains you query to advertisers.

Data you send to the API

Requests contain a domain, an action and your key. They do not need any personal data, and you should not put personal data into a query.

Responses describe public web link data from our own index. They are not about you.

Children

The service is meant for people who run or advise on websites. It is not directed at children.
